CONTRACT BUSINESS ANALYST (INSURANCE) - SOUTH DUBLIN, IRELAND

Client:

Our client a leading Multinational Insurance Company requires a Contract Business Analyst for 9-12 month daily rate role based in South Dublin, Ireland.

The role requires the contractor to be onsite 3 days per week. 

Role:

You will be responsible for the elicitation of business requirements and their translation into solution requirements to ensure their implementation throughout the project life cycle. This role will generally involve the co-ordination of work of other Business Analysts to deliver the required deliverable while completing Analyst work. (With support for Composite Lead Business Analyst)

Responsibilities:

• The Project Lead Business Analyst describes as-is/to-be models as part of the requirements elicitation process.
• They are able to adapt to and apply different delivery methodologies (Scrum, Waterfall, Lean) (Jira).
• They plan, conduct facilitate elicitation onsite and virtual sessions and ensure production of associated deliverables.
• They understand customers' and/or Brokers’ objectives, processes and products in order to make recommendations.
• The Project Lead Business Analyst supports project managers and Scrum master including the day-to-day activities, risk assessment, project/Sprint scope and development of a high-level/sprint plan.
• They produce requirement specifications (Epics and User Stories) on Jira and outline solution design documents (where required) throughout the project life cycle, incorporating change requests and finalization of requirements documentation.
• They plan and follow-up on business analyst activities for the project/program.
• They should analyse and manage requirement risk, trace ability matrix and prioritize requirements.
• They support development of test plan, testing, implementation and training activities, and perform quality review checks on solution.
• They support post implementation activities including problem solving and measurement of benefits.

Education 

• Bachelors degree (or equivalent)

• 8 or more years of experience as Business Analyst in Insurance (General)
• migration project experience preferred
• Operational Excellence preferred
• Documentation Generation Experience Preferred
• Salesforce experience
